About
Sierra Madre Vineyard sits near the western edge of the Santa Maria Valley appellation, about 15 miles from the Pacific, and was first planted to vines in 1971. An affiliate of E. & J. Gallo bought the 542-acre property in 2018; it grows Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
