About
Sanguis is a Santa Barbara winery started in 2004 by winemaker Matthias Pippig, making Rhône and Bordeaux varieties in a converted warehouse in the city; the Sanguis Collection adds the Loner, WhaleSong and Missoula Flood labels. Tastings of all four are booked as appointments at Sama Sama Kitchen on State Street, with optional food pairings.
